Joan and John Pidgeon were married in the 1690s, and their children were born at Winchcombe, Gloucs.
It is thought that one of their descendants Samuel Pidgeon was born at Wellington Shropshire in 1799 when his father moved there temporarily.
In 1825, Samuel married Mary Phillips at Winchcombe, and around 1835 the family moved to Birmingham
John Pidgin and Elizabeth Huckin were married in 1753 at Kingham, on the Oxfordshire side of the border with Gloucestershire.
Some of their descendents stayed at Kingham, while others settled across the borsder at Adlestrop in Gloucestershire.
