The Pidgeons of Awliscombe, Devon

James Pidgeon was born at Cotleigh, but married Betty Drummet at Awliscombe.  Although their eldest sons John and William were baptised there, their later children were baptised at Cotleigh, whence they appear to have returned.  However, John and William remained at Awliscombe, along with many of their children and grandchildren, but several of their descendants moved much further afield, and their families are shown on the following separate Pidgeon branches of this tree:

Stockland

Colaton Raleigh

Great Torrington

Prince Edward Island, Canada

Paddington, London  (& Lincolnshire)

Kentisbeare  (& Christchurch, New Zealand)

Exeter
