The Pidgeons of Basingstoke, Hampshire

Henry Pidgeon and Sarah Baggs were married at Basingstoke in 1801.  Sarah came from Hannington, a village some six or seven miles north-west of Basingstoke.  Where Henry came from isn’t known.  They had ten children, most of whom survived to adulthood, but not all of whom married.  They have living descendants, but the Pidgeon name will die out with the childless William Pidgeon, born in 1924.
