The Pidgeons of Hammersmith

John PIDGEON was probably the eldest son of John PIDGEON and Esther RICH, who were married at Hatfield, (see the PIDGEONs of Hertfordshire-1).  Thomas was born at Hatfield in 1778 and married his first wife Mary KEEP there in 1807, before moving south to New Brentford, where Mary died in 1818.  She was buried at Ealing

According to the 1841 census, John was living at Hammersmith, London with his second wife, Lydia KIMBER (whom he married as a ‘widower’ at Ealing in 1825) and their youngest two of five children.
