The Pidgeons of Honiton, Devon (William)

William Pidgeon was born in 1774 at Cotleigh, the son of William Pidgeon and Betty Lippincott, (see the Pidgeons of Cotleigh family tree).  In 1789 he married Ann Cawley, who had been baptised at Monkton in 1775.  Soon after their marriage William and Ann moved to Honiton, where the widowed Ann was living in 1841 with two of her base-born grandchildren, and next door to two of her married daughters and their families.  There are no known survivors of William and Ann bearing the Pidgeon name.
