PIGEONs of Jersey (Jean François)

Jean François Pigeon and Elizabeth Nicolle were married at St Helier in 1795. Most of their descendants continued to live on Jersey, except those descended from great-great-grandson John Walter Pigeon who went to London, England. A grandson Daniel Elie Pigeon was transported to Tasmania in 1850, whence it is thought he escaped, made his way to New Zealand and changed his name to Wilson.
