PIDGEONs of Kilmington, Devon - Axminster branch

William Pidgeon was the son of John Pidgeon and Elizabeth Ash of Kilmington, Devon (see the Pidgeons of Kilmington family tree). In 1794 he married Ann Honeybone at nearby Axminster. After 5 children and the death of Ann he remarried in 1808, and fathered three more children. His youngest son Jacob married Lydia Culverwell and they had four daughters and three sons. Their descendants spread out from Axminster to the surrounding villages of Wambrook, Dalwwod, Chard, Chardstock, Hawkchurch, etc. and some went as far as Cardiff.
