Irish PIDGEONs of Middlesbrough, Yorkshire

Patrick Pidgeon was born in Co Mayo, Ireland, probably at Swinford where his parents came from. Two of his sisters and a brother Thomas were born there, before the family emigrated to Wigan, Lancs (see the Pidgeons of Wigan family tree). He was married at Middlesbrough, but two of his children were born at Wigan where his widowed mother continued to live.

Most descendants live in what is now the Teesside area.
