PIDGEONs of Stockland (James)

James Pidgeon was born at Stockland, Dorset (see the Pidgeons of Stockland family tree), but married Amelia Carter from Broadwindsor. After spending many years living at Chard and Wambrook, they eventually settled again at Broadwindsor, about 12 miles east of Stockland.

Their eldest son William left Dorset and settled on the Channel Island of Guernsey, living at St Peter Port.
