Irish PIDGEONs of Walsall, Staffordshire

The Pidgeons of Walsall came from Ireland, mostly in the 1840s. Patrick and Bridget first went to Huddersfield in Yorkshire, before arriving at Walsall by about 1838, but they cannot be found in the 1841 census, so perhaps they returned briefly to Ireland. Most came from County Mayo, so possibly they all did, being part of the same family – see the Pidgeons of County Mayo family tree.

Many of these Pidgeons apparently stayed for only a short period in Walsall, and then disappeared from England. Did they return to Ireland, or emigrate to other parts of the world, such as the USA?  '⇰?' indicates people who may have emigrated. One part of the family moved to Rochdale in Lancashire.
