Historically, Yearsleys were to be found in two main locations in England. The largest concentration was spread over Lancashire, Cheshire and Staffordshire centred around Northwich, Cheshire. The others were concentrated around the Forest of Dean and Bristol in Gloucestershire.

My great grandmother was Martha Yearsley, born in 1844 at Norley, Cheshire.
